Mt. Ruapehu at the Tongariro National Park, the north island highest peak (2,797m). She is still an active volcano. We were there (click here)
Introduction
My wife, Hashimah is attending a course on NLP (neuro linguistic programming) from the 7th till 29 of November 2009. It is held at Wellington, New Zealand. Everything will be paid by her employer, Ministry of Health Malaysia. So, we are taking this opportunity to explore New Zealand, just the two of us (I have to pay for my own trip myself of course). We came to New Zealand a few days earlier, arrived at Auckland International Airport on the 3rd of November. We drove to Wellington (using rented car), exploring New Zealand North Island in 4 days. We planned Day 1 to explore Coromandel Peninsular, Day 2 the Central North Island (Rotorua & Taupo), Day 3, Tongariro National Park & Mt Ruapehu and Day 4, south of the North Island. This blog is documenting our planning/preparations and updates of this travel.
